The Irrepressible Joel

Over at Online Recruitment Blog, Joel is pretty excited about another new Google feature, and he's right to be:

For example, approximately 6,000 people everyday search the term "wells fargo." If all those people saw a direct link to Wells Fargo's employment page, a percentage will click and investigate what the company has to offer, even though the searcher had no initial intention of looking for a job.

Passive candidates, compliments of Google; no job board required.

If rolled out across Google, this new feature highlighting sub-sections of corporate sites could indeed be a valuable pipeline of candidates to staffing groups.

Interesting find Joel!
