Fred Wilson's VC Cliche of the Week
Fred Wilson is doing a great service to the blogosphere with his regular VC Cliche of the Week
posts.
It's a tough topic to handle and Fred is doing it with aplomb.
Because his readership is composed of both private equity pros and Internet entrepreneurs, it makes getting the voice pretty tricky: too rarefied and insiderish and one could come off as an arrogant jerk, dumb it down to talk to the little people and one could end up sounding condescending. Those are the water hazards of explaining the inner workings of any guild to a broad audience.
And I think Fred is doing an excellent job of avoiding those, while providing really illuminating insight to both parts of his audience.
