Makes me want to drink at lunch

Page Six gossips that:

SOME Manhattan media junkies have devised a bar crawl in honor of Jayson Blair. After gleaning details from the avalanche of articles about the disgraced former Times reporter, fans of his fall from grace have plotted a course tracking Blair's favorite watering holes. They start at Robert Emmett's on West 44th and Eighth Avenue, where Blair drank lots of scotch and spent wads of cash. Then it's off to Siberia at West 40th and Ninth Avenue, where PAGE SIX reported how Blair, armed with a cellphone and notebook, filed a story about freed P.O.W. Jessica Lynch datelined West Virginia from one of the divey bar's stools. Next, head outside and puff a couple of cigarettes in a nod to Times managing editor and Blair smoke-break buddy Gerald Boyd. Finally, get yourself blotto around the corner from the Times headquarters at the Playwright's Tavern on West 44th and Eighth Avenue.

Sounds like a great way to spend an afternoon when you're not are not are working.
